They are called the Chocolate Chip Family. But you can't eat them; they are a set of African-American dolls.
``A lot of people ask if they are edible,'' said Freda Kimbrew, president of Chocolate Chip Family Doll Corp. in Northglenn. ``I tell them, `I won't eat one, but I love to look at them.' We named the company that because everybody likes chocolate chip cookies, and we felt it would get attention.''
Kimbrew, a native of Chicago who moved to Denver 25 years ago, said the company is unusual because it represents family values and unity.
