SIMLA -- It takes a community to raise a basketball team.
Simla, a farm town about 75 miles southeast of Denver, has just over 500 residents. At the 2A regional championships here this weekend, more than 400 fans - from infants to great-grandparents - cheered the boys team and the girls team to wins that sent them to the state championships next weekend.
``Going to games is just a habit we've always had,'' said Dallas Reed, 75, who has cheered from the sidelines since 1948.
