For most of us, the words ``latitude and longitude'' fit together like ham and eggs or rock 'n roll.
We might not be able to explain exactly what latitude and longitude means in scientific terms, but we understand that these systems of measurement enable navigators of the world to get where they are going.
Time was when seamen understood latitude, but longitude was a guessing game.
