PUEBLO -- Senior Jenny Molner will have the rest of her life to think about her last basketball game for the Simla Cubs.
But an outstanding career for Molner boiled down to the final 30 seconds of the Class 2A state girls basketball championship at the Pueblo Events Center. She hit a three-point basket from the top of the arc to bring her team back to within one point of gritty Sanford.
Then Molner took a missed free throw with 13 seconds left, drove the length of the floor launched a shot with 2 seconds left that gave Simla a 45-44 victory.
