Colorado river outfitters are gushing over an above-average snowpack that could boost the state's $74 million river-rafting industry by 10% this season.
``We'll definitely be above average in flows, which is good water,'' said Greg Felt, chairman of the Buena Vista-based Colorado River Outfitters Association. ``And because the mountains got a lot more snow early in the year which consolidated the snowpack, we'll have better sustained flows through the season.''
The industry last year drew 428,276 rafters.
