Like some titan's Tinker toy, the crane pierces the sky 100 feet above the Denver Athletic Club at 14th Street and Glenarm Place.
Tamminga Construction Co. is using it to build a $4 million, 20,000-square-foot addition to the club.
``It's going to have a small mezzanine, but it is basically going to have a big, beautiful room with 20-foot high ceilings for a new fitness center,'' said Jim Hannifin, club president.
``It's going to have glass windows all around for great views.''
