Help wanted: special education, bilingual, computer science and math teachers.
Need not apply: social studies, English and language arts teachers.
As Colorado school districts start hiring for next school year, they are looking for teachers who can do more than read, write and recount history. They need teachers who specialize in high-demand fields or can teach more than one subject.
``The hardest thing is to find people who know kids and can teach computers,'' said Anastasia Sunday of Longmont, who was hired in Weld County schools.
She was the exception at a recent job ...
