JEFFERSON COUNTY -- A Wheat Ridge woman and her son stole purses from cars while their owners visited gravesites at cemeteries, the sheriff's department said.
Sandra K. Raske, 46, and James Earl Schwartz, 18, were charged with 13 counts of criminal trespass after they were arrested Tuesday afternoon at Crown Hill Cemetery.
``Victimizing people at a cemetery is an all-time low,'' sheriff's department spokesman Jim Parr said.
The sheriff's department had received reports since late March of purses stolen from Mount Olivet and Crown Hill cemeteries, Parr said. Several purses also were stolen from Crown ...
