WASHINGTON -- Hillary Rodham Clinton consulted with a researcher in psychic experiences and altered consciousness who led her through imaginary conversations with her hero, Eleanor Roosevelt, according to a book about the 1996 presidential campaign.

Hillary Clinton's spokesman said Sunday there's ``nothing new'' about the consultations with New Age author Jean Houston and an associate, Mary Catherine Bateson, that were described in The Choice, a new book by Bob Woodward, an assistant managing editor of The Washington Post.
