Talk about a comeback.
After teetering with the rest of the city on the brink of economic despair in the late 1980s, Capitol Hill is riding a wave of economic prosperity that's washing over downtown Denver.
``I said five years ago we're on the threshold of something big, and now I think there's more to come,'' said Margot Hartmann, owner of the Holiday Chalet Hotel Apartments at East Colfax Avenue and Williams Street.
Just as Hartmann and others predicted, downtown's economic boom has spread east as people have flocked to the city for baseball, brewpubs and shopping.
