PARIS -- Four people were killed and 35 injured when a car taking part in a motor rally careered off the track and ploughed into spectators Sunday near Alencon in western France, the government prefect said.
In a crash in Toronto, driver Jeff Krosnoff and course worker Gary Arvin were killed in the Toronto Molson-Indy.
Helicopters in Alencon ferried the injured to hospitals in the region, and about 100 rescue workers treated the wounded at the track in the village of Essay, north of Alencon, officials said.
