Colorado Rockies manager Don Baylor Monday set in motion the return of Larry Walker to right field.
Ellis Burks will move to center and Dante Bichette to left in a return to the outfield alignment of last season.
That's fine with Walker and Bichette, although Burks did not embrace the move, which Baylor discussed with the three players before Monday's game. Baylor wanted to tell the players before Walker, who is recovering from a broken left collarbone, departed today on a minor-league injury rehabilitation assignment.
