Former University of Colorado president Judith Albino says Senate candidate Gene Nichol pestered her to support his campaign and threatened to drag her past into the primary campaign if she didn't endorse him.
In a July 6 letter to the Federal Election Commission, Albino complained that Nichol had pushed her for a contribution to defuse any criticism during the campaign of his handling of her resignation as CU's president.
