HOLLYWOOD -- It's not true that CBS stands for Cosby Broadcasting System. It only seems that way.
Bill Cosby returns to the weekly TV wars this fall with a new series, called, not surprisingly, Cosby.
And the network has done everything except produce T-shirts with ``Savior'' printed on them. A loud drumroll, please, to announce that Bill Cosby is THE MAN to hoist the network out of its third-place position in the ratings. At least that's the feeling at the Cosby Broadcasting System.
After all, Cosby ``saved'' NBC in 1984. So why not CBS in '96? I wonder if the television ...
