On October 29, 1999, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA; Washington, D.C.) added seven chemicals and two categories of chemical compounds to the list of toxic chemicals that are subject to reporting under the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA), Section 313 (which comprises the Toxics Release Inventory, or TRI).
