Butler County Commissioner Janet L. Clemmons died Monday at Christ Hospital after a three-year struggle with ovarian cancer. She was 64.
Mrs. Clemmons, whose son suffers a developmental disability, helped found the Tri-County Association for Children with Learning Disabilities and was instrumental in establishing what is now the Children's Diagnostic Center in Butler County.
She also was associated with the Butler County Children Services Board and the non-profit Residential Alternatives for the Developmentally Disabled (RADD) in Butler County.
