MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- After 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., it just might be the most famous address in the United States.
At 3764 Elvis Presley Blvd., you'll find Graceland, the home of the late Elvis Presley. It is on the National Register of Historic Places and is open for tours every day of the year except New Year's, Thanksgiving and Christmas days.
Some 700,000 visitors a year come through the mansion, which is situated in an area called Whitehaven. And this is one of the heaviest tourist weeks of the year in this mid-South city. Twenty years ago Saturday, Elvis Presley died at 3764 Elvis Presley Blvd.
