MIAMI -- Few in South Florida seemed to remember the last time that Kevin Brown - who hadn't lost since July 27 - did not come through in a big game for the Florida Marlins.
The 14-start undefeated streak, however, came to a completion on Sunday night, when Brown allowed the Cleveland Indians to put an end to an even more awesome run.
Brown, 9-0 with a 1.96 ERA since his last defeat, was slapped around by Cleveland for six runs en route to a 6-1 victory at Pro Player Stadium. The win marked the Indians' first World Series road victory since Oct. 11, 1948.
