WHAT TO EXPECT: Highlands beat Rowan County, 68-28, in the first round of last year's playoff and should win easily in this one, too.

''They're just an awesome football team,'' said Rowan County coach Gary McDowell. ''I don't even know if rain would help us. We'd still have to play a perfect game and they'd have to play their worst game. I mean, there's going to be times I have a kid who's 5-3, 125 pounds going against (6-foot-6, 290-pound Highlands standout lineman) Scott Kuhnhein.''
