Steven Von Bargen, the high school student found responsible for the January crash that killed his brother and two friends, was released today after nearly five months at the Hillcrest Training School.
He was released at the recommendation of school staff, said William Hamilton, superintendent of the county-run juvenile center.
Von Bargen, 18, will remain under county supervision after he returns home, Hamilton said. The supervision is similar to the adult correction system of parole.
