John A. Ruthven's Thompson House Gallery, 203 E. Grant Ave., Georgetown (40 miles east of Cincinnati) will host a 20th-anniversary holiday open house from noon to 4 p.m. Nov. 16.
Visitors can meet Ruthven and view a 20-year retrospective of his artwork. The show will also include originals and prints by artist Joe E. Smith from Hillsboro.
The gallery is normally closed Sundays, with Monday-Saturday hours 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2-5 p.m. Generally featured are Ruthven's wildlife sketches, originals, limited-edition prints, plates and notecards. Other gift items include Eagle Creek Pottery, Lewis Mountain Herbs & Everlastings and Vessels of Honor pottery. ...
