In the mood for a nice violin-viola duo? How about a spot of jazz or a string sextet?
You can find them all, at one time or another, on a concert by the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra Chamber Players.
With 95 players to choose from, covering virtually the entire symphonic universe, the CSO Chamber Players is a unique community resource.
During its eight years of existence, the series has presented combos large and small, made up of strings, winds, piano - even voices, castanets and guitar. Bassist James Lambert has played the viola da gamba. Tubist Michael Thornton has sung counter-tenor.
