It's one thing to be amazed at seeing something you've never seen before.
It's another to have your eyes opened to what's been right before them - unseen.
For more than 30 years I've been driving, off and on, along rural highways, but until a couple of weeks ago, if anyone had told me I'd been driving right through a high-adventure world inhabited by birds of prey - and that all I had to do to see them was to just look - well, I would have thought that person nuts. Surely if these birds had been around, I'd have seen them.
