Beginning Sunday, Procter & Gamble Co. is giving away about 1 billion free washes.
On Sunday, P&G begins a free distribution of 40 million sample bars of its Ivory Moisture Care Bath Bar.
Most of the bars will be distributed with Sunday newspapers in P&G's largest ever one-time sampling program.
Ivory Moisture Care - which also comes as a body wash - was introduced in January and is the first version of Ivory that doesn't float because of the skin moisturizers it contains.
