Ludlow cannot enforce its 20 mph speed limit, a judge has ruled in a decision that casts into doubt the validity of speed limits under 35 mph in most - if not all - Kentucky towns.
But before you go cruising down Elm or any other street at 90 mph, be warned: The state speed limit of 35 mph is still in effect in Ludlow.
And, because of the way the court system works, the posted speed limits - whether 20 mph or 35 mph - still stand in other towns unless challenged one at a time.
