Boone County boys' basketball fans came to Friday's home game dressed in flowered shirts and grass skirts like a bunch of beach bums.
But the laid-back atmosphere didn't affect their team. Boone County defeated St. Henry, 61-47, by working hard at both ends of the court.
It was the third straight win for the 3-2 Rebels, who opened the season with back-to-back losses last week. St. Henry's record dropped to 1-3.
''We're not very big so we can't go toe-to-toe with many teams,'' Boone County coach Jay Mulcahy said. ''We have to make our press work and, by doing that, we get more ...
