A new musical version of ''Robin Hood'' will be the Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati's holiday attraction Dec. 4-25. It will be the centerpiece of a larger holiday event.
''It's going to be a swashbuckling, musical epic,'' said artistic director D. Lynn Meyers, who also will direct the show. ''Lots of swinging on trees and special effects. We may blow a whistle every 10 minutes if there isn't a sword fight.''
Ms. Meyers promises that the Sherwood Forest set will not stop at the stage apron but extend into the house, the lobby and maybe even the ground floor of the building next door, a former bar ETC ...
