Belvedere Corp. will take over management of the Omni Netherland Plaza starting July 1, officials at Omni Hotels Corp. said Friday.
Kristine Serafin, spokeswoman at the Corpus Christi, Texas-based chain, said the hotel would convert from an Omni-managed facility to a franchise. Belvedere owns and operates the Carew Tower building, which is located adjacent to the Omni.
Belvedere officials would not comment on the management change.
Alex Warm, vice chairman of the Cincinnati-based real estate developer, would not give details, but did say that, ''It's staying an Omni.''
