America's two top hopes to win a gold medal in women's gymnastics in Atlanta this summer plan to skip the Olympic Trials - but they don't plan to be bumped from the Olympic Games.
Citing injuries to their gymnasts, the coaches for 1992 Olympian Shannon Miller and rising star Dominique Moceanu said they are filing petitions to USA Gymnastics that would allow their athletes to skip the Olympic Trials and get healthy for the Olympic Games.
