Print Machinery Firms Thin on Displays and Business
GREENVILLE, S.C. -- A lack of interest in apparel textile prints resulted in printing machinery producers leaving their equipment out of the recent American Textile Machinery Exhibition-International.
Four major foreign producers -- Buser, Stork, Regianni -- maintained booths for pictorial displays and distribution of literature, and one, Johannes Zimmer of Austria, had a shortened model of its 126-inch-wide Rotascreen 88. President and chief executive officer, Roland J.P. Zimmer, told DNR, this model was for the home furnishing industry.
