To coincide with the opening of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in May 2001, CMA will induct 10 Country Music luminaries into the coveted Hall of Fame. The inductions will add special significance to the gala opening of the new, state-of-the-art facility in downtown Nashville. Typically, members of the Country Music Hall of Fame are formally inducted during the annual CMA Awards broadcast each fall.
