Dec. 13--DENVER, Colo.--Colorado Attorney General Ken Salazar and the state's Better Business Bureaus will launch a toll-free hotline in January to field consumer fraud complaints.
Salazar was joined in announcing the one-stop complaint-filing program Tuesday by Kenneth Hunter, national president of the Council of Better Business Bureaus, and by representatives of five BBBs in Colorado.
After the first of the year, people may call the Colorado Consumer Line at (800) 222-4444 to file complaints or to inquire about businesses.
Callers will hear a telephone message, with an option for non-English speakers to hear it in Spanish. The automated ...
