U.S. OLYMPIANS TO BEGIN GOODWILL TOUR TO CHINA
NEW YORK, June 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Three members of the United States table tennis team will begin a six-week, goodwill tour of China in July under the sponsorship of FMC Corporation. This will be the first time a U.S. corporation has sponsored a table tennis team in China since 1979. The tour was arranged by the U.S. Table Tennis Association and the U.S. Olympic Committee in cooperation with the Chinese Olympic Committee.
The athletes, who will also represent the United States at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul are, 20-year-old Sean P. O'Neill of McLean, Va., 36-year-old Insook Bhushan of Aurora, ...
