Shall I dare say that an edible fungus can move me like no other food? Absolutely. What is a girl to do? This bulbous, earthy delicacy is coveted all over the world. The truffle is used and at times, overused (as with white truffle oil), in kitchens throughout the culinary universe. A classic ingredient, the truffle has never been more important or popular than it is today.
Is there any such thing as too many truffles? Well, when you ask true lovers of truffles that question, it is like asking a chocoholic if there is any such thing as too much chocolate. Personally, having several friends who are chocolate fiends, I won't even go there.
