The great living room debate continues.
The living room, descendent of the Victorian parlor, is really, truly dead - even here in the heart of the Midwest. That's according to a group of architects who participated in a recent forum hosted by the Daily Herald.
And they're pretty happy about it.
"I guess one of the things that I probably would like to see legislated is that we can't do living rooms any more," said Bill Styczynski of Styzynski, Walker & Associates of Willowbrook.
Matthias Jans, whose Palatine architecture firm bears his name, agreed.
