Dec. 20--You could almost say that beer is David Rivers' life. He talks about it much of the day to callers on his toll-free number. Beer taps, T-shirts and other paraphernalia jam the closets of his Amherst apartment.
That's because his apartment also serves as the headquarters of Kegworks.com, a Web-based business that sells keg refrigerators and other equipment for in-home bars. Launched in 1998, the site draws an average of 300 visitors a day and generates annual sales close to $1 million.
