I am sure that by this time you are all hearing about the sweep of business method patents on the Internet and how everybody is suing everybody else. Guess what? The stories are true! Now you may ask yourself, "Why should I care about a bunch of Internet geeks suing each other? After all, I am in the imaging business and we operate on a higher moral plane!" (Well, possibly you're saying that!) But ... let's see.
You no doubt have heard of Amazon.com. They got a patent on use of a single click of a mouse to buy books over the Internet. They even sued (and won) against Barnes & Noble who also did a one-click purchase thing. No effect on you, you say? You don't sell ...
