Barrett Companies has completed construction of 100 Summit Place, the first project building at the 50-acre Greenville Yards industrial redevelopment in Jersey City, N.J. Summit Import Corporation relocated to the 120,000-square-foot refrigerated food warehouse and office facility from Manhattan, bringing approximately 100 permanent jobs to New Jersey.
Barrett Companies, designated developer for Greenville Yards, will break ground soon on the second, fully-approved building at the property. Located at Port Jersey, between Route 169 and the Hudson River, Greenville Yards is a Foreign Trade Zone that can accommodate users from 100,000 to 2 million square feet.
