CARSON CITY, Nev., Dec. 22 /PRNewswire/ --
Tom Tait, who directed Nevada's expansion from a legendary gambling state to one of the world's most diverse and desirable tourism destinations, has resigned as executive director of the Nevada Commission on Tourism (NCOT) to accept a corporate position, Lt. Gov. Lorraine Hunt, NCOT chair, announced Friday.
Tait served NCOT for 12 years, rising from international and domestic marketing director to become executive director for the past nine years. He guided Nevada's tourism growth from 28 million in 1989 to an expected 47.5 million this year.
