This time of year wildlife rehabilitators are inundated with calls from the public about injured wild critters or baby birds, rabbits and other little ones in places where they shouldn't be.
These dedicated volunteers are working round the clock to care for all the sick, injured and orphaned animals that end up in their hands. So if you find a wild animal you think is in need of aid, here is some information to let you know what you can to do help and when you should seek assistance from a wildlife rehabilitator:
