You know those signs that say ``Chesapeake: Virginia's Future.'' Maybe they ought to read ``Chesapeake: the Invisible City.''
Invisible is what we were in the ``Weekend'' section of The Washington Post for July 30. The main story in the section was about art galleries and museums in the Tidewater area. Score: everybody else at least 1; Chesapeake, 0. Not only did we get skunked in the text, but we struck out visually. The map that accompanied the story didn't even show Chesapeake.
There were Williamsburg, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Portsmouth and Virginia Beach. There were Routes 17 and 168 with a blank space in between ...
