VIRGINIA BEACH -- Voters on the fence about light rail may not want to turn to Thursday night's debate for an epiphany on the issue because they probably won't find it.
The debaters, two nationally known transit experts, used data on costs and ridership to argue vastly contrasting positions. The information was so contradictory at times that each questioned the other's sources or calculations.
But for those with set opinions on light rail, the debate offered plenty of nuggets to solidify their positions.
