Jimmy Bedford has been known to take a sip of whiskey at work, but that's no problem. It's his job as master distiller at the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg (pop. 361), Tennessee, to monitor the quality of the world famous spirit. The sad part is he has to spit it out. The distillery is in a dry county where no alcoholic beverages may be sold for consumption.
Bedford will visit two Norfolk restaurants this evening, in addition to appearing at area package stores and selected military commissaries, where he'll sign bottles of Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Tennessee Whiskey, and chat about the product he's helped distill for ...
