Looking back over the 20th century's list of presidents, no doubt historians will favor Franklin Delano Roosevelt as their favorite choice as the nation's greatest leader.
After all, our 32nd President was elected four times and while he occupied the White House he initiated the New Deal to lift the country from the depths of the Great Depression. As Commander in Chief, he led the nation against the tyrannies of fascist Germany, Italy, and Japan. The nation is still blessed today by many of his social reforms and the military organization he created during World War II has risen to the greatest the world has ever seen.
