MSP Tommy Sheridan, Prisoner No 32057, was locked up in Cell 23 at Greenock Prison last week.
He was sentenced to a week inside when he refused to pay a pounds 250 fine after being arrested in an anti-Trident demo at Faslane.
This is his diary of how grim life is inside jail. He was strip- searched, showered and psychoanalysed before being banged up in a single cell.
Cons gave him everything from teabags to phonecards, newspapers to milk.
But over 80 per cent of inmates are drug addicts - two tried to kill ...
