PORTSMOUTH -- Janie Ramseur, 94, of the 2600 block of Roanoke Ave., died Feb. 11, 1999, at Lafayette Villa Health Center, Norfolk.
Born in Hartford, S.C., she was a retired laborer from Planters Manufacturing Co. with 23 years of service and was a former member of Mount Nebo R.Z.U.A. Church in Portsmouth.
The widow of Jack Ramseur, Mrs. Ramseur is survived by two daughters, Lula M. Lawrence of Portsmouth and Christine Coulter of New York City; a son, Alex McClain Jr. of Newton, N.C.; a sister, Maebell Jackson of Philadelphia, Pa.; three brothers, Woodrow Mungro, ...
