VIRGINIA BEACH -- Funny how reality often fails to live up to anticipation.
That was the case Monday night in an Eastern Region quarterfinal, where Princess Anne turned a much-ballyhooed contest against Booker T. Washington into a 107-54 shellacking that not even the Cavaliers could have predicted.
Princess Anne advances to a 6 p.m. region semifinal Wednesday at Churchland against Oscar Smith, a 41-40 winner over Peninsula runner-up Woodside - setting up another much-awaited playoff matchup.
