UNTIL RECENTLY, the 1949 Senior Class of the former Cypress Chapel High School had never scheduled a class reunion.
A few former students had talked about it, but plans never materialized. After all, 10 of the 12 graduates had settled in the former Nansemond County where they had grown up and were friends and neighbors long after their school days ended.
