Just about every night all summer long, Daniel and Claudia Robinson are privy to a wildlife phenomena that few people have ever seen.
Soon after it gets dark, their squirrel feeder becomes the dining table for a group of neighborhood flying squirrels. Flying squirrels are tiny critters that humans never see because they are strictly nocturnal, sleeping their days away in a tree cavity somewhere.
In fact they are so rarely seen that many people don't even know that flying squirrels live in Virginia Beach.
