HAMPTON -- The season couldn't have ended soon enough for Greg Edwards.
He had struggled following a Sept. 19 wreck, his leads in the Late Model Stock and Citgo Mid-Atlantic Championship Series races dwindling after every event. And after qualifying ninth for Saturday night's race at Langley Speedway, both titles were in serious jeopardy.
But Edwards held on to one of them, finishing seventh to beat Danny Edwards Jr. by four points for his first Late Model title and a $10,000 prize. Eddie Johnson won the race, holding off Danny.
